We bid farewell to Bohdan Korol of Canora, Saskatchewan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 25, 2025 at the age of 89. Bohdan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Korol and Julia Korol; his wife Marlene Korol; and his siblings, Buck, Orest and Olga Gulak.
He is survived by: his children, Donna McCormick (Mel) of Canora, SK, Bradley Korol (Nicole) of Okotoks, AB, Lisa Korol of Regina, SK and Darcy Korol (Linda) of Donwell, SK.; his grandchildren, Dylan (Rachelle), Kaitlyn (Kristian), Bryce, Kyle (Catie), Justin (Katie) and Ty Korol; his great grandchild Amelia Korol; his siblings, Eugene Korol (Vicki), Kathy Davyduke (Morris), Maurice Korol (Louise) and Alice Popoff (Harold); and his sister-in-law Irene Korol. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
A prayer was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (904 Main St, Canora, SK S0A0L0). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at the Sliding Hills Christian Cemetery.
Those wishing to make expressions of sympathy may make donations to the Sliding Hills Christian Cemetery or to the Descent of the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Mazeppa, SK, as tokens of remembrance, in memory of Ben Korol.
