He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bohdan Ochitwa (Ben) and Katie Ochitwa (Bartko) of Canora, SK.; his wife Karen Ochitwa; his father-in-law John Drozd; his niece Danni McGirr; his children, Aimee Sipple (Ben) and Shelby Ochitwa; his mother-in-law Olga Drozd; his siblings, Mervin Ochitwa (Karen), Dianne Kresak (David) and Janet Sullivan (Trevor); his siblings-in-law, Darrell Drozd (Heather) and Tamara McGirr (Scott); his nieces and nephews, Darren Kresak (Sarah), Brett Drozd, Logan (Ambria), Tyler Ochitwa, Jenelle Kresak (Clay), Karli Ochitwa, Shanna Drozd (Teague), Jill, Chantel Sullivan (Theo), Morgan and Erin McGirr; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Forrest Kresak, Jack Crocker, Laurel and Eleanora Ochitwa.
