He was predeceased by: his parents, David Kosar and Sophie Kosar (Rakochy); his brother Emil Kosar; his parents-in-law, Mike and Jean Chabun; his siblings-in-law, Glen Chabun and Lynda; and his son-in-law Brian Burym.
He is survived by: his wife Leona Kosar; his daughters, Sheri Kosar and Kristen Kosar (Jarret Koroluk); his grandchildren, Michael and Danielle Burym; and his siblings, Leonard Kosar (Linda), Dymetro Kosar, Gloria Demchuk (Allan), Christine Mudry (Marcelle) and Darlene Hancheroff (Jerry). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
