She was predeceased by: her husband Fred P. Shukin; her parents, Nick Bonderoff and Nellie Bonderoff; and her siblings, Lucy Smorodin and Mike N. Bonderoff.

She is survived by: her children, George Shukin (Janet) of Yorkton and Elaine Ayson (Sonny) of Winnipeg, Manitoba; her grandchildren, Christopher Ayson of Winnipeg, George Shukin, John Shukin (Brooke) of Yorkton, Nicole Shukin of Calgary, Alberta and Katherine Kreitzer (Shayne) of Regina, Saskatchewan; and her great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Annaleigh, Heather and Jack Kreitze. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and cousins.
