We are sad to announce that on July 30, 2024, at the age of 91, Alex Billy of Canora, Saskatchewan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Metro Billy and Helen Billy; his wife Cynthia Sakundiak of Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church; his siblings, Bob, George, Norman and Olga Markham; his siblings-in-law, Peggy Billey, Jean Billy and Ray Markham; and his nephew Kevin Billy.
He is survived by: his children, David (Veronica) and Debbie; his granddaughters, Megan Billy and Jessica Howard; and his brother Jim Billy (Vera). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Those wishing to make expressions of sympathy may make donations to St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Canora Hospital Auxiliary, or to the Canora Gateway Lodge Auxiliary, as tokens of remembrance, in memory of Alex Billy.
