She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandchildren, Derek Hoffart (Lisa) of Regina, Jordan Hoffart (Miranda Lane) of Edmonton, Shawn Rebman (Adara Laycock) of Medicine Hat, Heather Neilson (Verna) of Canning, Amie Shirkie (Dean Ziegler) of Saskatoon, Camille Shirkie (Brennan Kilmister) of Saskatoon and Janice Shirkie (Jesse Butler) of Swift Current; her great grandchildren, Elliot, Clara Hoffart, Henry, Hazel Hoffart, Adia, Arlo Neilson, Grayson Rebman, Mila, Rowan and Remi Kilmister; her sisters, Dorothy Lytle and Connie Williams; her sister-in-law Maryanne VanBuskirk; her husband Harry Shirkie; her siblings, Vera Reed, Marian Scheelhaase, Florence Wallis and David VanBuskirk; her brothers-in-law, Henry Reed, Ray Scheelhaase, Joe Wallis, Bill Lytle and Bevan Williams; and her parents, Alice VanBuskirk and Walter VanBuskirk. She was also cherished by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
