He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Bob (Linda), Wendy Gore-Hickman (Rick), Max (Kim) and Shelley McEwen (Rick); his sister MaryAnn Myren (Richard); his son Douglas; his grandchildren, Kim, Kara (Trent), Dallas (Jessy), Brett (Leah), Kurt, Michael (Amanda), Sean, Tara (Cam), Blaire, Adam, Alex and Caitlin; his great grandchildren, Wiley, Meisie, Liv, Ole, Tor, Paris and Adelyn; his parents, Lorne Kirkpatrick and Mae Kirkpatrick; his son Kirkpatricks; and his wife Rose Gromniuk. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
