He is survived by: his mother Marie Desjarlais; his children, Kevin Sylvestre, Meagan Moberly, Lenal Favel, Lyle Sylvestre and Leroy Sylvestre; his siblings, Leonard (Sandra), Wilbert, Rene (Kandas), Lloyd (Jackie), Ian (Pamela), Yvonne (Myles), Leona and Lisa (Nap); his grandson Douglas Pederson Jr.; and his pet Askim. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, & nephews.
