Mike Skoretz Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 15, 2023, at the age of 97, Mike Skoretz of Buchanan, Saskatchewan passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mike Skoretz to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wasyl Skoretz and Katherine Skoretz (Bilski); his former wife Katie Olynick; his son Lyle; his daughter-in-law Pat; and his siblings, Steve, John, Rudolph, Tom, Nellie Kotyk, Annie Hrycay, Mary Surkan, Caroline Dominic and Hilda Ferster.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Lyle; his children, Wesley, Don Skoretz (Paula), Dianne Anderson (Michael) and Shirleen Boutcher (Mark); his daughter-in-law Doris; his grandchildren, Cory Skoretz (Karen), Adrian Skoretz (Shirley), Rye Skoretz (Hannah), Brandon Skoretz, Bailey Hrynchyshyn (Nathan), Kalynne Skoretz, Brenna Boutcher, Kaylie Boutcher and Ricki Kurka Skoretz (Tyler); his great grandchild Sadie Kurka-Skoretz; and his brothers, Bernard, Edward, Frank and Daniel Skoretz. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
