He was predeceased by: his parents, Adriannah McRae and Lorne McRae; his mother-in-law Katharina Greter; and his siblings-in-law, Katharina Bailey and Chris Miller.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his daughter Tara; his grandchildren, Ashley (Jazz) and Aiyanna; his great grandchild Kayla (Tristen); his grandson Jackson; his great grandchild Victoria; his stepsons, Everett and Ethan Havet; his son Geoffrey (Colleen); his grandchildren, Katie, Abigail and Hailey; his son David (Shannon); his granddaughter Adriana; his great grandchild Lorne; his siblings, Donald McRae and Sharon Miller; his father-in-law Frank Greter; and his siblings-in-law, Terry Greter (Beverley), Randy Greter (Anita) and Robert Bailey. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
