He was predeceased by: his parents, Konrad Nakonechny and Anastasia Nakonechny; his wife Doryne Margaret Kilback; his daughter-in-law Myrna Nakonechny; his siblings, Peter and Mary; his parents-in-law, Valentine and Margaret Kilback; and his siblings-in-law, Ken Jewell, Norman, Harold, Jim, Don, Morgan, Walter, Gordon Kilback of Nanaimo, BC, Joyce Nakonechny, Eileen, Laura, Joyce Kilback and Annie Stratillo.
He is survived by: his son Darryl Nakonechny (Elaine); his grandchild Kira Martindale; his sons, Pat, Reese, Sydney and Kevin Nakonechny (Kendal) of Calgary, AB; his grandchildren, Jason Nakonechny (Lea) of Dodsland and Jennifer Nakonechny of Saskatoon, SK.; and his sister-in-law Helen Kilback of Burnaby, BC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
