She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry McGowan and Alice McGowan; her sons, Don and Dean; her brother Bob; her nephew Michael McGowan; her daughter-in-law Donna Coombs; and also Carvel Scobie.
She is survived by: her children, Ken and Sandra; her spouse Carvel Scobie; her close friend Bernard Trahan; her granddaughter Nikol (Nick); her sisters, Lois (Barry) and Gwen (John); her sister-in-law Lynn McGown; her nieces and nephews, Jen, Alicia, Darcy, Ryan and Sheldon; and her great grandchildren, Dominik and Jace. She is also survived by her extended family and many friends.
