He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Kurbis and Emily Kurbis; his brothers, Bill, Art and Gordon Kurbis; his brothers-in-law, Alfred Murch, Alfred Pudrycki, Richard Long and Don Scheaffer; and his nephew Jason Long.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lilly Murch, Ruth Pudryck, Doreen Long, Jan Kurbis (Jack), Margaret Scheaffer and Ed Kurbis (Carol). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
