She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Leslie and Ione Leslie; and her sister Joy Ann. She is survived by: her spouse Don Wylie; her children, Joy McFarlane-Burton (Rick Burton), Dale Wylie (Jan Phillips) and Bill Wylie (Jackie); her grandchildren, Shane McFarlane (Melissa McQuat), Jaeda McFarlane, Dana Wylie (Matt Blackie), Kate Wylie (Robert Neilson), Jessica Wylie (Peter Murphy), Steven Wylie (Kirsten), Lauren Wylie (Jesse Sadoway), Michelle Walker (Dion Walker) and Kelly Tunison (Chris Tunison); and her great grandchildren, Sarah Walker, Tyler Walker, Josephine Tunison, Charlotte Tunison, Anna Haynes, Keira Neilson, Emma Wylie, Oliver Wylie and Tage Sadoway.

She did not crave public recognition for her community work, often making donations and saying "keep this quiet".
