He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Inez; his brother Murray; his brother-in-law Kenneth; his parents-in-law, Marcella and Roger; and his close friend Dale Ulmer.

He is survived by: his wife Karen; his son Geoff (Lacey); his grandchildren, Seager, Swayze and Stiles; his daughter Ginny (Jason); his grandchild Austyn; his daughter Becky (Adrian); his grandchildren, Holden, Hollis and Emmie; his daughter Bobbi (Wade); his sisters, Marlene (Wayne) and Glenda (Tom); and his sisters-in-law, Susan (Garry) and Charlene (Don). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
