He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sweeney and Anne Sweeney; his siblings, Shirley Haggquist, Sharon Deminchuk and Calvin Sweeney; his brothers-in-law, Gilbert Covey, Bob Cates and Walter Jackson; and his nephew Ken Cates.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ila Fay Jackson, Phyllis Cates, Joyce Covey, Keith Sweeney (Dorothy), Harvey Sweeney (Arlene) and Brian Sweeney (Carol); and his brother-in-law Herm Haggquist. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
