He was predeceased by: his parents, John Turner and Dorothy Turner; and his brothers, Jack and Rick. He is survived by: his wife Fran; his daughter Sandy; his grandchildren, Joel, Maisie and Maddie; his son James (Kami); his granddaughters, Sophia and Elizabeth; his sister Carolyn Andreas (Roy); his nephew Trent; and his niece Cora. He is also survived by numerous cousins, in-laws, and friends.
