It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Commer of Battleford, Saskatchewan, born in Brandon, Manitoba, who passed away on November 25, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix and Julie; his brother Tommy; his in-laws, Peter and Hilda; and his sister-in-law Patricia.

He is survived by: his friend Don; his wife Margaret; his daughters, Stacey (Tyler) and Michelle (Jason); his grandchild Mckenna (Josh); his great grandchild Abel; his grandchild Jacy (Jordan); his sisters, Carol (Larry), Mary-Ann (Doug) and Sandy (Bert); his siblings-in-law, Eileen (Ray) and Allan; his aunt Jean Mazier of Manitoba; and also, Rhiannon and Kalli.
