He was predeceased by: his parents, Nickolaus Gerlinsky and Amalia Gerlinsky (Jaeger). He is survived by: his sister Albena Penn of Belleville, ON; his son Cletus of North Battleford, SK; his adoptive son David; his daughter Laura (Tom Hughes) of Victoria, BC; his grandsons, Christopher and Kyle; his son Greg (Tammy) of Wilkie, SK; his stepgranddaughter Jean; his wife Irene; his siblings, Edward, Emelia (John Kosakowsky), Felix Gerlinsky (Annie), Mark Gerlinsky (Dorothy) and Elizabeth; and his brother-in-law William Penn.
