She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Degenstien; her parents, Archie Pearce and Amy Pearce; her son David Degenstien; her grandson Ivan Wasmuth; and her son-in-law Bruce Griffiths.
She is survived by: her child Griffiths; her daughter-in-law Linda Degenstein; and her sisters-in-law, Beth Degenstein and Dorothy Pearce. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 22nd 2024 from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Garden Chapel (1332 100 St, North Battleford, SK S9A0V8). A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Battleford United Church (52 4 Ave W, Battleford, SK S0M0E0).
