He was predeceased by: his son Matt; his parents, Gordon Padfield and Ethel Padfield; and his parents-in-law, Murray and Lorraine Wiltse.

He is survived by: his wife Tracey; his daughters, Carmen (AJ), Laura (Josh) and Nikki (Cody); his grandchildren, Jackson, Ethan, Parker, Austyn and Emersyn; his siblings, Trina McCormick (Bill), Randy (Colleen) and Sheldon (Melanie); and his brother-in-law Allen Wiltse (Annika). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
