He is survived by: his wife Bonny; his children, Marni Chadwick (Brent) and Duane Hanna (Leann); his grandchild Garnet Hanna (Samantha); and his siblings, Gwen, Cam, Neal and Jan.
In lieu of flowers, Lyle has requested donations to the Assiniboia Regional Park for the Assiniboia Golf Club or Messiah Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
