He was predeceased by: his son Nelson Crooks; his daughter-in-law Sandra Crooks; his parents, Frank Crooks and Mary Crooks; and his siblings, Francis Crooks, George Crooks and Vera McRae.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Cunningham of Mazenod, Saskatchewan.; his children, Allan Crooks, Larry Crooks (Verlyn), Kevin Crooks, Leslie Crooks (Shelly), Darrell Crooks, Marty Crooks (Cheryl) and Heather Crooks; and his sister June Sanders.
