She was predeceased by: her husband William Watamanuk; her daughter Betty; her children-in-law, Garth Voinorosky, Grace Watamanuk and Garry Buzinsky; her parents, John Wendzina and Sarah Wendzina; her siblings, Steve, Tom Wendzina and Fran Block (Joe); and her brother-in-law Ed Rodgers.

She is survived by: her children, Gerald Watamanuk (Dale), Marge Hobbs (Rick), Bob Watamanuk (Cindy), Joan Reeve (Andy Ruckaber) and Carol Fuhr (Gordon); her sisters, Ann Rodgers and Lil Osmond (Ken); and her sister-in-law Sue Wendzina. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 34 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations in Kay's memory can be given to the South Country Health Care Foundation for the Assiniboia Long Term Care Box 1750, Assiniboia, SK, S0H 0B0.
