It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Jack Edmund Young of Assiniboia, Saskatchewan, who passed away on January 1, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Young and Elsie Young; his wife Mary; his siblings, George, Lila Johnson and Joyce Knox; his brothers-in-law, Mervyn Wittig, Murray Knox and Earl Johnson; and his great-niece Kyra Broeder.

He is survived by: his children, John (Catherine), David (Rosemary), Judy (Gerry Kane) and Laurie (Greg Klein); and also, Muriel Wittig and Margaret Broeder (Gordon). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
