He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Prevost (Mary Ann Prevost) and Mary Ann Prevost; and his siblings-in-law, Grace Prevost, Vic Nespliak, Art Mitchell, George Tonita, Phillip Hicke (Rosina) and Ron Hicke.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Prevost; his son Brad Prevost (Gwen); his grandson Tyler McKee (Whitney); his great grandchildren, Sawyer and Aria; his grandchildren, Stephanie McKee and Cory McKee (Shelby); his daughter Melissa Dawson; his grandson Kelly Prevost; his daughter Maureen Helland (Lyle); his grandson Shawn Helland (Jamie); his great grandchildren, Eric and Emma; his granddaughter Nicole Milligan (Devin); his great grandchildren, Letty and Capri; his grandsons, Dakota Helland (Kaitlyn) and Taylor Helland (Jeneva); his siblings, Ken Prevost, Lorne Prevost (Bernie), Gladys Nespliak, Bernice Mitchell and Diann Tonita; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Hicke. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
