He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex and Sylvia; and his siblings-in-law, Harold, Bob, Lester and Martha.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Christa (Darren), Collin (Jackie) and Doug; his grandchildren, Jenna (Lee), Joel, Braden (Robyn), Landen (Jhanna) and Kaden (Keardyn); his great grandchildren, Kamdyn and Reese; his siblings, Maureen and Gordon; and his siblings-in-law, Don (Shirley), Floyd (Dorinda), Deanna, Betty, Dorothy, Kathleen, Elaine (Jack) and Arlene (Mervin). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
