He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Anderson and Violet Anderson of Arcola, SK.; his former wife Thelma Jensen; his brother Jack (Helen); and his grandson Mason Anderson.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy Winmill of Carlyle, SK; his children, Audrey (Brian), Tennant (Kirsten), Sherry (Kevin), Kepke (Kathryn), Elaine Hislop (Lucas), Dawn (Greg), Hengen (Carly), Diane (Wade), Wrubleski and Harvey (Michelle); and his stepchildren, Linda Hawman (Ron) and Danny Hawman. He is also survived by sibling and families; Peggy's sisters and families and many good friends.
