Laura Balas Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laura Balas of Aneroid, Saskatchewan, who passed away on May 3, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Don Balas of Wallard, SK; her daughter Donwyn Sayers; her parents, Oscar Anderson and Florence Anderson; her siblings, Patsy Burns and George Anderson; and her brother-in-law Don Shapley.

She is survived by: her son Don Christopher (Jennifer Oleson); her son-in-law Brian Sayers; her grandchildren, Brad Sayers (Crystal), Amy McDowell (Richard), Elliot and Finley Balas; her great grandchildren, Kyler, Carter, Ava Sayers, River, Sequoia and Rowan McDowell; her great great grandchild Sadie Sayers; her sisters, Ellen Shapley and Joan Sharpe (Kerm); and her siblings-in-law, Wilfred Burns and Mary Anderson (Ken Pigott). She is also survived by his family, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
