Harry Boyko Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 14, 2021, at the age of 93, Harry Boyko of Alvena, Saskatchewan passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Harry Boyko to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nettie and Wasyl; his siblings, Joe, Dmytro, William, Alex, Walter, Alozie, Anne and Mary; his siblings-in-law, John Pidskalny, Metro Zadorozniak, Mary, Jessie and Sylvia; and his parents-in-law, Dmytro and Emily Sorokan.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Diane, Karen Oleksyn (Murray) and Robert; his grandchildren, Lesia Horbay (Drew), Stacia Horbay Ugalde (Isaac), Ryan (Brittany), Brett (Ellie) and Nic (Rebecca); his brother Michael (Josie); and his sisters-in-law, Anne, Marilyn and Natalie Slywka (Eugene). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Due to Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, a Private Divine Liturgy will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at 1:00 p. m. celebrated by Rev. Fr. Mykola Romanets, at St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Alvena, Sask.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church Cemetery Fund or the Lakeview Pioneer Lodge.
