With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernadette Ballantyne of Allan, Saskatchewan, born in Sandy Bay, Saskatchewan, who passed away on March 2, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Linklater and Henriette Linklater; her son Simon "Teeskun" Ballantyne; her siblings, Viola Budd and Rene Linklater; her aunts and uncles, Frederick Ballantyne, Steve Ballantyne, Sophie Custer and Marie Bjornson; her grandchildren, Sikwan Ballantyne, Sherwin and Layla May; and her chapans, Connor Lee and Wrenley.
She is survived by: her husband Allan; her children, Christina, Della (Dwayne), Vernon (Judy), Allan (Melissa), Ralph, Eva (Darrell), Lyle (Marcella), Deena (James), Iona, Donna (Cory), Virginia, Blaine, Kayla, Tenielle, Drew, Earl, Blake and Aaliyah; her siblings, Christina, Antonia, Gladys, Louisa, Eva (Gilbert), Harold (Audrey), Melville (Laura) and Ovide; her in-laws, Caroline, Margaret, Joyce (Earl), Cornelius and Dianna; and her close friends, Eileen Custer, Ida Sewap, Lynda Custer, Joan Custer and Michelle Cadena-Wilson. She is also survived by 59 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
