She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Blight and Lillian Blight; her brothers, Dale and Wayne; and her parents-in-law, Grant and Barbara Whitfield.

She is survived by: her husband Lorne Whitfield; and her children, Chardina Mehler (Jason), Teresa Whitfield (Jason), Bernice MacIntosh (Scott) and Dale Whitfield. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
