He was predeceased by: his parents, Desire Lesy and Maria Lesy; his wife Marian Lesy; his son Brian Lesy; and his brother George Lesy (Rita).

He is survived by: his children, Ron Lesy (Wendy) of Airdrie, Ken Lesy (Joan) of Edmonton and Valerie Hall (Dwight) of Estevan. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren.
