She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Trowsse and Elsie Brown. She is survived by: her husband Clifford Scharf; her sister Laura Burgess; her children, Cathy Scharf-Matthews (Pierre) and Peter Scharf (Donna); her grandchildren, Pierre Jr. (Mallory), Brian (Becky), Steven (Natasha) and Joey; her great grandchild Blakely; her stepgranddaughter Andrea; and her stepgreat-granddaughter Lynka. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families, and all her card friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
