He was predeceased by: his son Ronald. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Chamberlin (Nee Nickel); his children, Patricia Young (Nee Chamberlin) of Arizona, Ross and Rodney Chamberlin of Ottawa; and his grandchildren, Andrea, Jessica, Julia and Darryl.

In lieu of flowers, donations sent to The Royal Canadian Legion Bells Corners Branch 593 would be appreciated .
