She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Fairon. She is survived by: her children, Philip (Ada) and Glen; her brother William; her nephews, Christopher and Timothy; her sister Gloria; her niece Kimberly (Ian); her great-nephews, Adam and Justin; her great-niece Lorraine (Don); and also, Tammy (Erik), Arthur and Kieran.
After moving to a senior residence in 2020, just as the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Joyce was lovingly cared for by her sister Gloria and niece Kimberly.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any organization related to dementia care.
