She was predeceased by: her husband Cyril Element; her sons, Clifford (Céline St-Amand) and Jerry (France Gauthier); and her parents-in-law, John Seward (Rose Levesque), Alice Seward (Jean-Pierre Abbott) and Gerty Seward (Agenor Vachon).

She is survived by: her children, Shirley (late Serge Corriveau), Linda (Marc), John (Danielle), Kathleen (Paul), Pearl (Claude) and Rosemary. She is also survived by grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
