We are sad to announce that on October 7, 2024, at the age of 89, Marilyn Gilmartin of Stanstead, Québec, born in Bury, Québec passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her boyfriend Ernest Nicholson; her parents, Evelyn Gilmartin and Patrick Gilmartin; her brothers, Patrick and Lorne Gilmartin; and her son-in-law Donald Labonte.
She is survived by: her daughters, Darleen Rever and Deborah Brown (James Brown); her siblings, John Gilmartin (Betty Gilmartin), Merrily Slawson (Gary Slawson) and Jane Therrien (Maurice Therrien); her sister-in-law Geneva Gilmartin; and her grandchildren, Joshua Brown (Amber Brown), Melissa Labonte, Samantha Labonte (Charles-Olivier Levasseur) and Sheena Brown (Benjamin Farrow). She is also survived by great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
