He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted and Ida; and his son Ryan. He is survived by: his children, Boyd (Annick), Carla (Jack) and Melissa (Jack); his grandchildren, Kenny, Chloe and Lauren; and his siblings, Vimy (Anne), Teddy (Diane) and Marilyn (John).
