He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Fontaine and Rollande Préfontaine; and his sister Nicole. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Curphey; his daughters, Julie (Olivier Arseneau), Catherine (Renaud Lafrance-Longtin) and Elizabeth; his grandchildren, Alice and Henri; his siblings, Carmen (Jacques Genest), Pierre (Nicole Douville), Jean-Louis (Huguette Bombardier), Henriette (Michel Genest) and Yves (Monique Boucher); and his siblings-in-law, Paula and John. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
