Harold Gilchrist Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harold Gilchrist (Sherbrooke, Québec), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 23, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Gilchrist and Dorothy Stevens; his sister Joan Gilchrist; and his brother-in-law Michel (late Brenda McHarg). He is survived by: his wife Dianne Laramée; his children, Linda (Brent Cairns) and Patrick (Kathryn Standish); his grandchildren, Jeffrey Cairns, Jordan Schoolcraft and Cole Schoolcraft; his siblings, John, Judy (late Albert McBean), Heather, Robert (Cheryl Gosselin) and Richard (Carolyn Leonard); and his siblings-in-law, Sylvie (late Claude Larochelle) and Jacques. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Steve L. Elkas Complex (4230 Rue Bertrand-Fabi, Sherbrooke, QC J1N1X6).
