He was predeceased by: his parent Fernand Belhumeur. He is survived by: his children, Marc (Mylène), Tyler (Cheryl), Léanne, Raelyn and Adam; his parent Laurence Lavoie; his brothers, Jean (Carole), Roger (Marylyn), Guy (Carole) and Gilles (France); his parent-in-law Denise Morissette; his sister-in-law Nathalie Morissette (Mario); his goddaughters, Annik, Alexcia and Éléana; and also Denis Morissette.

Donations may be provided to Médecins sans frontières, Denis' favourite charity.
