She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon Maddiss; her parent Francis Smith; and her brother Francis E. Smith. She is survived by: her parent Josephine Shedrick; her son John (Shelley); and her grandchildren, Noah and Hannah. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society, 740, Galt West, suite 112, Sherbrooke, Qc, J1H 1Z3, would be appreciated.
