It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sharon (Horner) Smith (Shawville, Québec), who passed away on February 8, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lindsay Horner and Muriel Brownlee; her husband Dalton Smith; her sons, Todd (Jennifer St-Aubin) and James; her grandchildren, Brandon and Breanna; and her extended family, Ruth Robertson (Larry), Richard Sparling (Claire), Barb Sparling and Stephen Sparling (Debbie).
She is survived by: her siblings, Faye (Red McTiernan), Joan (late Donald Woermke), Marion (late John Musgrove), Beryl (late Allan Bruce), Betty (William Devlin) and Jim Horner (Cathy); her sisters-in-law, Jean (late Charles Smith), Gisele (late Sherman Smith), Ethel (late Mervin Yach) and Lilda (Wilfred Schwartz); and also, Minerva Sparling, Cora (Carl Sparling) and Harvey (Fern Smith). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Maple Grove Cemetery.
