He was predeceased by: his parents, Ebert Richardson and Kathleen Hodgins; his wife Joyce Brown; and his sisters, Sheila and Brenda.

He is survived by: his children, Warnie (Carole), Joey (Sylvia) and Robyn (Kyle Wisotzki); his grandchildren, Connor, Lachlan, Brennan, Kate, Sam, Dylon, Hatti and Tucker; his siblings, Claire (late Henry Lunam), Marlyn (Norris Angus), Diane (late Joey Keon), Barney (Heather), Murray (Gloria), Mona (Earl Newton), Myles (Marsha), Mike (Janice) and Rick (Bonnie); and his brothers-in-law, Bert Murphy and Charlie McDowell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
