He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Blaskie and Lucy Adamchick; and his siblings, John, Peter, Isidore, Theo, Joe, Martin, Katherine and Lucy.

He is survived by: his spouse Theresa Kelly; his children, James (Darlene), Robert, Debra and Barry (Brenda); and his grandchildren, James Jr., Kyle, Terri-Lyn, Clayton, Collin, Samantha, Brandon, Brooke and Brody. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
