He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Heeney and Jennie Cavanagh; and his siblings, Irene (late Fred) and Dave (late Vaida). He is survived by: his siblings, Percy, Leonard (Sherry), Dena (late Eldon Johnson) and Beverley (late Melvin Lafleur); and his significant other Annie Schroeder. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to the current pandemic, a private graveside service will be taking place.
