He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Newberry and Léa Brousseau; his brothers, Léo and Reginald; and his siblings-in-law, Renée and Robert (Ann).
He is survived by: his wife Margo; his children, André (Belinda Cahill), Louise (Jean-Pierre Landry) and Marcel (Lisa Fletcher); his grandchildren, Angels, Maryse and Jean-Michel; his siblings, Richard (late Colette Gagnon), Jeanne (late Guy Mallette), Cletus (late Joyce Rainville) and Thérèse (Gerald Lemay); and his siblings-in-law, Constance, Gérard (Joan), Paulette (Jean-Guy), Jean-Charles (Annette), Hélène (Maurice), Réjean (Pauline) and Suzanne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
