She was predeceased by: her husband Clifford Desjardins; her parents, Ruby Anderson and Lloyd Anderson; and her siblings, Barbara, Joan and Lyle.

She is survived by: her children, Ruby (Luke), Tammy, Shannon (Matt) and Katie (Mike); her grandchildren, Christopher, Jacob, Nicholas, Skylar, Noah, Nevaeh, Faith, Seth and Joshua; and her nieces, Wendy, Debbie and Barbara. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ottawa Heart Institute would be greatly appreciated.
