He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle Deering and Clarence Deering; and his brother John. He is survived by: his siblings, Della (late Wilson Hodgins), William (Dianne Salick), Freda (Vince Charity), Wayne (Brenda) and Arno. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
